Name | PhthalogenK |
Synonyms | Phthaloquinone K |
Molar Mass | 328 |
PH | 7 |
Physical and Chemical Properties | An organic compound salt formulation containing metals, with a pale purple powder appearance. When exposed to air, it is easy to absorb moisture and bond into blocks, but is easy to crush. It is soluble in cold water, and the aqueous solution is basically clear and transparent, showing a magenta blue color. |
Use | This product is a metal chelate used for the dyeing and printing of phthalocyanine dyes. Before the condensation of phthalocyanine, this product does not free copper ions, so it does not affect the dissolution of phthalocyanine intermediates; After the synthesis of phthalocyanine dyes, due to the fact that the stability constant of acyl phthalocyanine near K is smaller than that of phthalocyanine dyes, copper ions can be dissociated and provided for chelation by phthalocyanine dyes. It is an indispensable auxiliary for phthalocyanine dye dyeing and printing. |
It is formed by complexing N-methyl-N-hydroxyethyl aminoacetic acid with copper ions.
